Whats the big thing about 100% soy wax?

Well we think its the best burning wax out there and here are some reasons.
  • Soy wax is an all natural wax MADE IN THE USA.
  • Soy wax is renewable and biodegradable.
  • Soy wax has a lower melting point so it burns slower than paraffin waxes that are made from petroleum(a refined gasoline product). Soy wax results in a cleaner burning candle that last longer then paraffin waxes.
  • Soy wax burns with zero petro soot, also resulting in a cleaner burning candle.

Whats with the spotting or frosting on my candle.

If you see white speckling on the edges of the candle or the tops of the candles this is called frosting or if you see a "gap" between the glass and the wax these are both natural occurrences of using 100% soy wax and will not effect the burning of the candle. Frosting or spotting occurs when candles are exposed to extreme temperature changes during shipping and are more visible on candles with color wax. This is also another way you know we are using 100% soy wax in our candle making process this is also why most big box stores use a paraffin wax blend to prevent this on their candles. We cannot replace a candle because of frosting or spotting but we will never send out a candle with excessive frosting or spotting.

Best burning methods for our Candles?

The best burn time we have found for our candles is between 3 to 4 hours at a time. We recommend no longer than 4 hours for proper melt pools. Trim wicks to 1/4" prior lighting and make sure the melt pool reaches the sides of glass before extinguishing or your candle will not burn properly over the life of the candle. Never burn a candle that is unattended; also keep on a level and fire resistant surface at all times. Don't move a burning candle, the glass can also get hot.

How long before my order ships?

Your order will be shipped in 1 to 2 business days we use USPS for our shipping.

Will I get any tracking information?

Your tracking information will be emailed to you as your order ships.

Why isn't my discount code working?

We only allow one coupon code per order so if you are applying more than one code that could be the cause of the problem. Example: you can't use both the 10% code for signing up for the email list combined with the free shipping code SHIPIT. Most of our discount codes can only be applied once per customer.

Whats the burn time on the candles?

Our 13 oz candle has a proper burn time of 60+ hours when correctly burned in 3 to 4 hour increments. We also use the maximum fragrance allowed in our soy wax candles.

Do you offer international shipping?

 What happens if I don't receive my candle?

Sometimes you will receive notification that your package has been delivered, but you don't have it in your possession but USPS says its delivered. If you don't see it show up in 3 to 5 business days reach out to us at help@bewitchedcandles.com and we will get that handled for you.

It is also possible that your address was entered incorrectly on your order, or it was sent to an old address if you did not update your shipping information properly. If for any reason your package is returned to us due to an address error, you will be responsible for the cost to reship the package. The cost to reship a package is $9.00 and you will be sent an invoice via email. If you choose to receive a refund rather than have your order resent, you will be refunded for the cost of the candles only. We cannot refund shipping cost on returned packages.
